Action horror SHADOW—DEAD RIOT will be screened at ImaginAsian Theater on March 22, 2006 marking its theatrical release. Starring acclaimed actor and genre icon Tony Todd (CANDY MAN I, II & III, FINAL DESTINATION I & II, THE CROW among others), SHADOW is directed by renowned Hong Kong director/cinematographer Derek Wan, H.K.S.C., founder of Los Angeles based all in one productions.

"SHADOW started a hybrid genre of action horror film;" according to producer Carl Morano ¡°Having Derek for the directing job is to lend his expertise in handling action scenes in the movie.¡± With more than forty theatrically released films and numerous TV commercials to his credit as director of photography, Derek has directed feature film A SUNSET FIGHTER and a 21-part TV series GENIC WAR for CCTV prior to directing SHADOW. He won the Best Cinematography Award at the 24th Philadelphia International Film Festival with MANHATTAN MIDNIGHT, one of the first HD movies in the world.

"I am so glad to be involved with this film. Not only could I experiment with a new genre while utilizing my experience in filmmaking, working with Tony (Todd) is such a pleasure. He is a highly professional actor with immense screen presence that makes the film so much more believable. Tony delivered his most powerful and evil performance as a serial killer who is executed and resurrected as a zombie in search of a girl named Solitaire (Carla Greene)." said Derek Wan.

Produced by New York based Fever Dreams Production, LLC, SHADOW also showcases exceptional talents of Hong Kong's greatest film technicians and artists, such as the jaw-dropping choreography of action director Tony Leung Siu Hung (ENTER THE DRAGON, DRUNKEN MASTER II) and the precision cutting of editor Ki Hop Chan (THREE EXTREMES, THE MEDALLION). In addition, two-time Grammy-winning LIVING COLOUR co-founder and guitarist Vernon Reid composed and performed SHADOW's compelling music score.
