Summary

A typical work night for taxi dispatcher Nita Garson turns frantic when she receives a call from a girl crying for help. In an attempt to aid the hysterical caller, Nita dispatches a cab to the scene. Her efforts prove to be too late. A body of an under-aged prostitute is found dead at the location, with only one known witness. But, could Nita eventually be the crucial element in solving a string of missing or abducted children?
Nita teams up with police detective Zack Alban to solve the murder. Nita must convince Zack that her constant premonitions will guide them to the responsible perpetrators. While Zack’s career is put to the test as his trust on Nita’s instincts repeatedly proves to be disappointing. But as their investigation continues, Nita ultimately becomes a driving force to finding justice and their relationship develops into something beyond their expectations.
The story examines the strength of the human spirit and our ability to find redemption and companionship in the most unlikely places.
